Horndean Volleyball Club
Nickname ‘Deans’
Horndean Volleyball Club was founded in January 2011 and is affiliated to Volleyball England – the national governing body for the sport. The club successfully gained entry to play in the National Volleyball League Division 3 South for the 2011/12 season – which they convincingly won to secure promotion to Division 2.
Horndean Volleyball Club is a voluntary run sports club set up to create opportunities for adults and children to play and compete in volleyball in the Horndean, Havant and Portsmouth areas.
The club is working closely with Pompey in the Community to support the delivery of the Premier League 4 Sport programme in the Havant Borough.
Horndean Volleyball Club currently has 1 adult mens team which trains every Thursday 7pm – 9pm at South Downs College, Waterlooville. The club has also got a mixed Juniors training session that runs every Wednesday 6 – 8pm at Prospect School in Havant. We are expecting to establish a women’s section in the near future.
